August is Fair time.
Makayla is finally tall enough to ride ALL of the rides.
Hailey's driving skills haven't improved at all since last year's.
But now that Makayla's tall enough to drive alone, trust me when I tell you Amy, LOOK OUT! SCARY TIMES AHEAD!
I rode a couple of rides with the girls, at which point I felt so sick I avoided doing anything but sipping water while mumbling "Don't throw-up! Don't throw-up!" and snapping pictures.
These two love to get painted. They loved it so much, they went back and got the other arm done,
Of course, we ate some healthy and yummy
fair food.
During August, we went to several quality summer movies.
And since we only went to quality movies, we did not go to Trolls.
We participated in the ward service project,
picking up garbage in Josephine Park with these nifty garbage grabbers.
Stan took the girls 4 wheeling one Saturday,
and then I read them an exciting book before putting them to bed. I'm sure it was almost as thrilling as the four wheeling.
It was soon time to head back to school.
Cute Hailey is a fifth grader and cute Makayla is a second grader.
Have a good school year, Makayla!
Don't forget to study!
Lucky girls to have a grandma who will take them to the fair and feed them fair food. The only way you could be better is if you loved al the rides as much as they do!
ReplyDeletePretty impressive chewed-on turkey bone. You're really good at pictures, how about comin' to the Caribbean in March and bringing your camera? Also bring along Trash for a real big dam time.
