Hailey's Party

Hailey turned 6 on June 14th. Today Amy invited us over to a pool party to celebrate.

Hailey demonstrated how 6 year olds jump into pools,

swim,

and offer soggy-wet hugs.

Brian's mom provided some cute decorations for the kids.

 Counting candles

for that Costco cake we ordered earlier this week.

 Hailey managed to blow out the one candle the wind didn't get first.

As birthday girl., Hailey got to eat an entire frosting cloud all by herself. Yum?

 Checking out the bike from Grandpa and Grandma. You can see that I used the same beautiful wrapping technique I used on Brinlee's gift earlier this month.

And she's off!

Finally, it was time to beat up the pinata.

 After everyone had a chance to punch it a few times,

the kids used the ribbons conveniently attached to the bottom to pull to break it open.
